I have a 1939 Desoto I have inherited from my dad. I just did a break line conversion on the car is the a way to get fuel lines mainly the main line from the tank to the fuel pump. Also I need a radiator as well. Here is a picture of the car just to show everyone what I have.
I've never seen a NOS complete fuel line replacement. You're probably going to have to bend your own out of fuel line stock. As for the radiator, how bad is yours and can it be fixed by a radiator shop? They are a unique item to the 39's only. You are going to find that many parts are unique to the 39 model year, especially lights and trim parts.
Any progress on the fuel lines or radiator?
@alsmith yes I repaired the fuel line and the radiator just drained the fuel and put a new fuel filter in it and cleaned the carburetor. Tomorrow we are wiring a new ignition switch. I redid the ignition coil the plugs and about to hopefully drive her this week.
