Hi!

I am interested in getting a reproduction window sticker for my '59 Firesweep. Is there a source for these?

Thanks,

Fred

What sort of window sticker are you looking for?

I've made some repro stickers and such using an on-line company called "Vistaprint".

You can purchase the NDC window sticker directly from the NDC "store".

Not sure if this helps. 8)

Thanks for your reply to my inquiry.

The window sticker I am looking for is the price sticker that came on the car from the factory when new. This is also called the Monroney sticker or label.

There are companies that make reproduction stickers but not for all cars. The company that made one for my '67 Barracuda does not make them for DeSotos and I was/am trying to get one for my DeSoto but cannot find a source.

Fred,
According to Google, the Monroney Label Law was voted in in 1958 and I'm not sure if it went into effect for the '59 models. My Dad bought a Fireflite Sportsman in '59 and I worked at a Buick Dealer and I can't recall whether or not they all had the stickers that year.
If you can find a reasonable "facsimile thereof" there's always "PhotoShop"!

Thanks Geoff,

The 1959 models were the first to have the Monroney Label affixed to a side window on the car. If I could find one for a '59 DeSoto, I certainly would find a way to duplicate it. I would need to know the codes and prices of the options which might be even more difficult. So far I have only been able to get base prices from info I found on line.

I'll just keep my ears and eyes open.

Best DeSoto regards,

Fred
