I am. I just mailed in my registration. 1 hour from my home. Love it.
I am happy to report also, the snow is gone.
See you there!

Just myself this year, as summer schedules seem to be always getting shorter. Too many things to do in too short of a time. The rest of the fam will be on their way to PA for our annual trip to see family.
Bringing Bruce Blackwell's Adventurer along, and MAYBE (but seemingly less likely each day) we'll have the '56 Dodge Royal Lancer too, for the WPC meet.
It's supposed to be fun!
1949 De Soto Custom Convertible (project)
Debbie and I plan on being there. It's going to take us 5 days to do the ~700 miles to get there since we plan on doing a lot of sightseeing in the northwest corner of IL and the southwest corner of WI on our way there, including staying overnight in the DeSoto Hotel in Galena, IL. We plan to take only 2 days to get home, since she has to get back to work. (And one of these days, I'm going to actually make it to one of our conventions in one of my De Sotos, but not this year. I haven't made it with one of my De Sotos since the 1997 convention in Terre Haute, IN.)
Bill
Neal and I will be there in our "other Mopar".
Bill Noble - we might stay at the "DeSoto Hotel" on our way to the convention IF all goes to plan. Maybe we will see you there?!
Everyone drive safely.
Unfortunately, I'll have to fly in and out 'cause there just ain't enough time to get coupe "road ready" for the show. Maybe next year?
I'm sure that I'll be very busy gathering "article fodder" for the magazine (you WILL get the May/June issue before the convention). Be sure to bring your brightest smiles!
Sue and I are going and plan on driving the '52. Bud and Shirley Tyler are coming with us but he hasn't said if he will be driving his '32 yet. Looking forward to seeing all of you there.
I wonder if Tammy and the DJ will be there
Rick, she said the last time she came to a NDC convention hoping to meet good looking young guys there was only old, married, fat bald headed men there. Not sure if she was talking about anyone specific but we can't get her to go to another one.
I don't blame her for not coming
Hello all,
Alina and I wish we were able to make it. Earlier this year we had a family loss and a few other issues that have slowed us.
To Rodger:
Rodger, more importantly, I deeply apologize for taking so long in getting your carburetor back to you. Alina and I are flying home today. Tomorrow, I will get the carb shipped to you ASAP. I was searching for a carb kit to rebuild it for you before but hadn't found one.
Ralph
Most Sincerely,

Well, our plans have changed already. Bud & Shirley won't be able to go so we don't have to worry about avoiding the interstates. The plan now is to drive to our daughters in Wisconsin , spend a day or two and then we will have about 350 miles to Lake Elmo. We plan on driving across the bottom of WI, dipping down to go through Galena, IL, crossing the river at Dubuque and following the scenic route along the river into MN. If anyone is interested in hooking up for that last part let us know. We wouldn't mind some company for that drive through WI or along the river.
Hopefully there will be directions were we can get a Juicy Lucy (Travel Channel-Man vs Food)
These guys claim to have come up with the original "Jucy Lucy".
"Matt's Bar" - where they filmed "Man VS Food"...
Very low-cal:
A recent trip to the MSP Airport found me in road construction.
For those people, flying in to MSP for the Convention, go to this link, for detailed maps, how to get around the area.

It is not very difficult, but, if you are new to the area, it might help to take a look.
Also, if you have never been to the MSP Airport, you are in for a very pleasant visit. The food and shopping is the best. Check out their website for maps and other information.
