Okay, I'm in the process of purchasing a 1956 Desoto fire dome 2dr. I want to put Centerline rims on the car. The ones I am looking at have a wheel bolt pattern for Ford/Mopar/AMC with a lug pattern 5x4 1/2. Fronts have 3 3/4 backspace, rears have 5 inches. Will these work ?

The bolt pattern is OK but not sure about clearances between the body and tires or the rear springs and tires - i guess it depends on the tires you install. Fronts are probably OK. Also the center hole needs to be large enough to pilot on your hub centers.

If you are buying the wheels from a wheel manufacturer, they should be able to answer all questions correctly. Good luck!
