Somebody ask we: what is that on the dashboard? I think it was a clock. Mine is no longer a clock, but a casing closed with dark glass. Was it a clock?

I would concur that it looks like it was a clock. The non-Diplomat 1955 DeSotos had a similar pod-like dash clock option. @LeeExline do you have a Diplomat brochure that would show the clock?
