I received the following email regarding the attached photos. Please respond directly to her....

Hi

Just wondering if you could help us.
We found these car badges amongst the effects of my husbands step father.
We have no idea where he obtained them.
As far as we can ascertain they are off a DeSoto possibly around the 1954 mark
Could any of your members identify the model?

Regards

Deborah and Max Deans-Smith

I could tell the parts were from Australia before I read the email.
1954-56 Australian Desoto Diplomat hood ornament and rear roof emblems.
The hood ornament is the same as American production 1954 Desoto but the rear roof emblems are specific to the export market.

Luckily I have a nice set for my UTE but I am sure they will find someone down under that could use these pieces.
Do they have any more parts?

Since I have a 53 Firedome V8 and have one of these in the desk drawer, I would have to say the bottom one also fits a 53 US DeSoto. The top one does not look the same as mine when turned upside down. The US DeSoto does not have the small emblems.
