I'm considering swapping out my tired 361 Firesweep engine for a 57-58 Hemi that will bolt up to a t-flite trans. Thanks for any leads around Va.

One thing to consider is the Hemi is a lot heaver than the 361(300 lbs i think) let alone making new motor mounts and I think the cross member will be in your way

Ron

The other item to think about is with the older engine's
you will need the Bell Housing of the engine to bolt to
your transmission.

Your 361 Crank Shaft will bolt into any 1962 - 1971 383 or
the next generation 400 cubed engine. The 361's Exhaust
Manifolds will bolt to the newer and larger cubed engines too.

Because some think the 1972 -1978 400's are "junk" the
price is many times lower than 383's.
