Hi All -
I'm looking for the bell crank, carb linkage rod, dash pot, spring and bracket for 55 Desoto Fireflite. These parts, with the exception of the spring and bracket, are unique to the 55 Fireflite. The linked photo below shows what these parts look like.
Thanks,
Ron, I looked at the link you just had on your post. You are from AZ - just like me. I am at 96th St and Shea Blvd in Scottsdale. You are a little ways away but the 101 shortens this a lot. We have some good classic car venues here in Scottsdale - in fact every weekend. Please touch base with me.
Note: The website used to list City and State with your name but only a few do. I guess if you are a member you can check the roster but do you have the roster out when you are on the NDC site? Please think about this.
Ron, since I have now seen that some 53 parts are still used on 55s, I have carb parts that may be what you show. It is hard to tell for sure. Please contact me at pmurko@cox.net. I may have manifold parts also.
Hi Paul -
While I'd like to visit AZ someday, I live in CT. Don't know where you're getting AZ from.
All the part numbers for the bell crank, etc. indicate that they were not used on earlier models. The good news is that most of them were used on the 56 Fireflite as well. There is only one bracket that is 55 only.

Paul,
The web site still allows registered users to have their location listed with their posts. I assume you, as well as many others, do not want their location disclosed.
If you want to have your location shown with your posts, you need to be logged in and go to the message board page. Click on "User Control Panel" and then on "Profile". Enter your location in the location block. I believe your location will then show up on your posts.

Ron, I cannot find where I came up with AZ for you. It is interesting though since I am originally from CT and know West Hartford and Newington very well. My father is still in CT as well as most of my family. May have had something to do with it. Interesting - there was some indication.
