Click HERE to email the webmaster and request a free account. The National DeSoto Club uses real names rather than pseudonyms. Notify the webmaster of your user name preference (Johnathon Doe vs. John Doe, etc.), preferred email address, and password request.
Just in case you missed my article in the club's roster issue, the deadline for nominating yourself to be an NDC Trustee is quickly appoaching - 15 April. Below is some of the info from my article:
Each year, three of the nine trustee positions are up for election. And each year we elect, or re-elect as the case may be, three members for a three-year term onto our board of trustees. It is these members who have the most significant influence on how and where our club’s future is going. And now is your chance to become one of those trustees.
If you have ideas, hopes, projects, etc. that you’d like to see in our club’s future (or if you just don’t like the way that the current trustees are doing the job and you’d like to see a change), then step up and nominate yourself for one of these trustees positions. All you need to do is to write a paragraph on why you should be one of our club’s trustees and send that paragraph to me. You should include any activities in the past that you’ve done for our club, as well as your hopes and plans for our club’s future.
The monthly board packets are usually sent out and responded to via e-mail, which makes for a quick turn-around time.
So please send your write-up to me by 15 April, 2016 via e-mail. I’ll collect these nomination write-ups and combine them into a ballot that each member will receive in the mail.
