There is a 48 Suburban for sale on EBay with no reserve, sells to highest bidder. The owner states that he drove it around with a can on top of the engine with gas. Pictures are pretty good and the interior is a mess. The outside is what you would expect for a car that old. Seems someone could win that auction, drop the gas tank and have it cleaned out. Fill her up and take it down the road.
All of a sudden it seems like more are showing up for sale in a few of internet sites that sells cars. Seems most of the sellers have "lost interest". If any of you have lost interest in any Suburbans you have been working on, feel free to call me and donate it to me. I'll gladly set it next to the others I have waiting for me to start on!!
I'd bid on it myself, but the time to pick it up, is the same time I will be heading to Sweden. Can't hurt to send him a message and see if he can hold it a little longer.
