Hi all, happy new year.
I have a quick question for those who. Any have access to a mopar interchange catalog ( mine doesn't cover steering wheels...)
I have found a nos steering wheel which the seller says is for a 51/52/53 Chrysler. Whether that's australian or us spec I'm not sure. But I was wondering whether this would work on my 54 U.S. market firedome. I realise it may not be the same as what was on the vehicle but as mine will end up as a nice driver that's not a biggy.
Apparently part number for the steering wheel is 1485059. I do have my original steering wheel ( which is now just metal with a little bit of plastic material here and there in the center) from the photos the seller has sent me the center boss looks to be the same in regards to boss holes, puller holes etc.
Thanks
Ben

I can only verify up to 1953. Anyone that has a parts book that covers 1954 can send me the part numbers and I will try to cross check them. It would really be better if you can get hold of a parts manual that covers that year and the years surrounding the model you have. My email is t.north_asm@yahoo.com
Thanks Tom. I have a 1950 - 1965 desoto dodge Chrysler Plymouth parts interchange book but it doesn't have steering wheels! I'll see what I can find
