I know that they are not DeSotos, but check out these battery operated kiddie cars!
A great way to encourage interest in cars among the children and the grand children.
A bit pricey I know, but what fun! They have many makes available these days, so there is something for everybody.
SURE wish I had one when I was a kid...especially that Lamborghini!
But instead, I had to make do with colouring cardboard boxes to match my dad's old, used cars. SAD! Don't let your grandchildren be that sad. LOL
Below is a photo of my pathetic self sitting in the driveway, "driving" my '58 Buick.
Nothing will beat a Firemite. But they are really rare!
I collect and make restoration parts for vintage children's cars like the Firemite. Here is my website that deals with these cars. http://www.jrcentral.com I can actually recreate some of the Mustangs and Thunderbirds because I own some of the original factory molds but not the Firemite.
Darn it, Lee...that reminds me; when are ya going to sell me a FireMite. LOL
(I need spoiling too.
BTW-I've seen some examples of Lee's recasting. He does good work!
