Can any one help me find or tell me were to look for the body number and the engine number or serial number on my 1926 chrysler model 58 4 clyinder (maxwell) Thank you. Bill Belk

On the '28 Chrysler we restored, the engine # is on the center of the left side of the block on a flat tab . The body # I would consider to be the (femco?) number which was on the decorative plate on the center of the dash.

It's supposed to be fun!

Thanks Tim found the femco no. Engine no. appears to be missing. It should be upper left side of block behind gen. Bill
