Have an immediate need of an S24 - 330 engine crank and #8 connecting rod. The #8 rod spun loose and ruined the rod and a bad spot on the crank.
Update - 11-20-2011 - I have located a crank and rod - no longer in need of these two items. Thanks to all who responded or offered suggestions. JNG

As an alternate "fix" thank of using the complete 1955 engine.

Why not repair both original pieces? The crank can be turned undersized assuming it's not too far gone and the rod can be reconditioned. Yes, it's getting harder to find machine shops that do that kind of work today but they are out there. Good luck!

Thanks Rodger and Tim. The crank might have been fixable but the rod was destroyed. I have a located a used crank and it is in route - due Wednesday. Thanks for the feedback. JNG
