Who has engine gasket sets for '36 DeSoto S-2 Airflow? Just a head gasket is OK. I can make the rest if need be.
Thanks
Steve
I'd try here...

And...you might just try your local NAPA or other auto parts store. Chrysler made this engine in several forms up into the 50's, many for military/industrial applications. My local NAPA has an "old car" book under the counter. I have been able to find many older gaskets that are available through them. They will need to know year, displacement, type of head ( alumionum or cast iron ), and probably the engine number.

I ended up scoring a MoPaR iron Airflow replacement head and a copper gasket from an Airflow club member. Got the thermostat housings too. The copper gasket is for iron head only. There is a steel gasket for the Aluminum heads. These gasket aren't the same as the later DeSoto and Chrysler 6's.
If anyone needs an S-1 iron head, I've got one!
Have a nice day
