Hope that all of our Australian friends are safe from the fires that are currently raging Down Under! Yikes.
Hope also that our Aussie members will let us know that they are safe, if they can.
Murray and Sharyn? Don't think you're in the fire zone (?), but I'm prayin' for ya anyway.
Thanks for your concern Rosemary. The fires are around Sydney and we are an all day drive south from there. In fact, it's hard to believe that the bush is so dry up there because down here it's been so cold and wet here that we'd like to light a fire to keep warm! It maybe a coincidence but I sent you and Neal a couple of e-mails earlier in the week. Did you get them? I went to the Chrysler Restorers Club of Victoria display day last Sunday, not far from home. There were only a handful of Desoto's present, but I sent a couple of interesting snaps of local PT Cruisers. Good luck with your projects. Keep on postin'.
Happy to hear that you and your family are safe and sound, Murray!
Sent you a PM!
Hi Murray - if you see any 54 firedomes during your travels, can you let me know!
I have a 54 two door undergoing a (slow) resto up here in Bris.
Cheers mate

Ben, your car must be the one you brought back from the U.S. a couple of years ago. It must be the only one of it's kind in the country. Can't say that I've seen one down here, or anywhere for that matter. What stage are you up to in the resto? Got up to a bit of mischief in a '54 sedan (Aussie delivery) when I was a teenager, but never in a coupe!
No worries Murray, keep me in mind if you ever see any pre-55s floating around.
My cars dismantled, bagged and tagged. Starting from the ground up at the moment!
