My '59 Firesweep's steering wheel "self turned" to the left upon start-up. I loosened the hydraulic whatchamacallit on top of the steering gear, wiggled it around a little, and tightened it up. Started the car and now it goes to the right but not as bad.
My question is: What's the best way to make the adjustment without any kind of a special tool? It seems extremely sensitive.
Thanks,
Fred
