Hi All,

Attached are a couple of photos of a part. Can anyone tell me what it goes to? It was in the same box as parts for the front hood latch and sheetmetal area. I am clueless.

OK, I have no clue but I do want to ask some questions.

First it looks like it is metal and the head has some pitting in it, correct? Does the shaft have any threads looks to be smooth?

I will have a look at my car and see if I can find anything like this. I was thinking it might have been part of a hinge that busted but it look to be too big for that.

I really cannot make out the size of the wrench to get an idea of the size of the part.

It is a very big head with some pitting. It is threaded. No square under the head. Fine thread. It went someplace in or around the hood latch or the grill.
