Hello DeSoto lovers,
I'm trying to attach a picture of my Dad's DeSoto-Plymouth dealership (ROMAN MOTOR SALES in Beaverton, Michigan) with my first car in front of the showroom window. For some reason the photo will not upload but I'll keep trying.

Hey! Finally got it to attach. That's me in the driver's seat at the ripe old age of 16, my younger brother is the front passenger and two cousins in the back seat.

LOVE the Adventurer Wheel Covers...and it's "nosed" and probably "decked"...
Yes Tony, it was decked, removed the rocker moldings and all name plates, extended the front fender moldings into the doors, and painted it '58 Plymouth bright red.
However the wheel covers were really aftermarket - not actual Adventurer, and they were silver. The whitewalls are Port-A-Walls! I retained the stock flathead 6 cylinder engine/drivetrain but put duals on it.

Thanks for sharing your photo. I suppose you don't still own that beautiful ride?
No Dan, I don't have it and haven't since 1960. I sold it to my best friend before I went to college (we couldn't have cars on campus as freshmen) and he ran it till the wheels fell off.
Back then we had no idea what a collectible was.
