This is a weird one. Now that I've got the interior installed in my '55 I've been driving it around quite a bit trying to sort out any bugs. I've noticed that when I let off the gas from a cruising speed, the oil pressure actually goes up a little bit. As soon as I step on the gas again, the oil pressure drops back down. After warm-up at 60 mph cruise, it runs just below the middle mark on the gauge. If I let off on the gas it pops up to just over the middle of the gauge. This is a mechanical gauge. One note: This car has been converted to a spin-on filter.
