I was a member of the NDC several years ago. I am new to this forum. I have two DeSotos, one recently purchased, a 1939 Auxiliary Seat Coupe. I can't figure out if it is a Deluxe or a Custom. Seems that the information to figure that out is very limited. So far, all I have found is that the Custom had a darker interior and had carpeting instead of a rubber mat. My car's interior was redone several years ago so I can't go by that. Anyway, if anyone knows of a way to decipher if it is a Custom or a Deluxe, let me know.
My other DeSoto is an unrestored daily driver 58 Adventurer coupe that I have had for 24 years. I'm sure some of you know about this car. I have struggled with the thought of selling it for many years but just can't seem to pull the trigger.
