Questions:
Where does spring on parking brake yoke hook to?
How do you turn on the fog lights?
What size heater hose?
Anyone have u-joint parts?
Wiper blades? Thanks, John Lynn
1) If you are talking about the return spring under the car I have a picture of it somewhere and will forward it to you. Basically it hooks onto the park brake and runs to a long piece of wire which hooks to the body.
2) Not sure. Switch along the bottom flange of the dash?
3) 5/8
4) I'd try the usual vendors, Bernbaum, etc... Check under "Vendors" on the left side of this page. I know the S11's had at least two differnt styles so send a picture of yours before you order. I had no luck at NAPA etc...
5) See #4.
Good luck!

How do you turn on the fog lights?
The Fog Lights or The Driving Lights was an
item The Dealer or an Owner installed. The
Off or On is just an Push ( OFF ) or Pull ( ON )
Knob.
As Tim stated, it is on the lower Dash Flange.

John ( And All )
As already stated The Fog Lights or Driving
Lights was not something that came from the
De Soto ( or Studabaker or Willys or Packard
or ~ ) Division. It was something The New
Owner wanted.
Most of the time The Off-On Fog/ Driving Light
Switch was added to the left of the Steering
Wheel ( US Version's) so that others would not
turn them on while searching for The Heat
Controls or such items.
The Control Knob has a differant design than
what an OEM Knob is. This means it does not
match in any way to any other knob in the car.
With The S-11's the appearance of the dash is
the same from 1946 to 1948.

( got this at an 2009 De Soto Convention )
Look up-wards or feel across the lower part of
your dash to see if you have some "empty" mounting
holes for the switch control unit may have been
removed some time ago. I would do this with-in
arms reach of where/ how an average sized driver
would have sat.

When the car was new the main maker of all Vehicle
Lights was http://www.unityusa.com/ and they are
are still in business doing the same thing.
