Unregistered users may browse the website, but in order to participate in the forums and view select pages (such as "Club Contacts" and "Classified Ads") a user account is required. Click HERE to email the webmaster and request a free account. The National DeSoto Club uses real names rather than pseudonyms. Notify the webmaster of your user name preference (Johnathon Doe vs. John Doe, etc.), preferred email address, and password request.
looks like I successfully enabled the avatar feature for the message board. If you'd like, you can now add a little personalization to your profile to feature an avatar; a small image that might tell everyone a little something about you. A personal picture, or a picture of your car, or your future burial urn (welcome to the forums, Michael!).
Find the place to create your avatar in the "edit your profile" section of your user control panel.
It's supposed to be fun!

Hmmm. It may still need to be tweaked. When I saved it it was under 6Kb, now it is over 6. It may not upload as an avatar

I picture of me found among many photos we went through that belonged to my aunt.

I made a avatar for me, but it looks a bit "fuzzy". Not sure how to shrink the photo and retain the sharpness. Anywho....
