The governor for my 1949 S-14 Custom has inexplicably disappeared. I am having trouble finding the part number. Does anyone know what it is?

Thanks in advance

Chris, Unless I am mistaken and S-13 is 1949 and S-14 is 1950. What governor are you talking about? The one on the transmission?

James

Jamses:

Yes, mis-typed. Its the S-13. And, yes the one on the transmission.

MOPAR 1126-636 Governor

You MUST use the factory copper gasket or it will bind! Ask how I know this.

MOPAR 1113-117 Copper washer 1-3/32" ID x 1-3/8" OD x 0.032 thick.

Hope this helps, James

Jamses: I think I can take a pretty good guess at how you learned that lesson. I only wonder how bad the damage was at the end of the day.

Rodger: I am located in Charleston, SC.
