Unregistered users may browse the website, but in order to participate in the forums and view select pages (such as "Club Contacts" and "Classified Ads") a user account is required. Click HERE to email the webmaster and request a free account. The National DeSoto Club uses real names rather than pseudonyms. Notify the webmaster of your user name preference (Johnathon Doe vs. John Doe, etc.), preferred email address, and password request.
A few days ago, I received a voice-mail message at home from Rick Brinker, our current web-master. Due to health and other personal reasons, he will discontinue being our club’s web-master come 1 October, 2014. So we need a new web-master, and we need one soon!!
It's my understanding that our web-master's main job is to maintain this web-site - assigning accounts so people can post messages, updating lists of our Resources, etc. The best person to answer any specific questions about this task would be Rick.
So if any of you want to step up and take on being our web-master, please let me know; thanks.
I honestly don't know what will happen to this web-site once 1 October is here if we don't have a new web-master.

We still need a new web-master. The month is almost over, and no one has stepped up to take on this task. I don't know what will happen to the club's web-site without an active web-master, but certainly no new accounts will be possible and other things won't get updated as they should. So if you think you'd like to do this, please let me know; thanks.

I work in IT, so basically I could do it. But I've not really the time. But I would be happy to do it ad interim until somebody else with skills and time takes it over.

All - an NDC member has contacted me about taking over the web-master duties form Rick. He is contacting Rick to see what all is involved and how much time is required to do these duties.
Elvis and Wild Bill - are either of you members of the NDC? I'm not finding either of your names in the latest roster. Being an NDC member is a requirement for being the club's web-master.
