Hello!
The Engine from my 1951 Desoto (original 6 cylinder) is overheating.I remove the waterpump and I see the tube is very rusty.I can´t pull the tube out of the cylinder block.Have everyone a Idea or Tip for easy Removing?

Hola Orlof

1. Remove The Radiator.

2. You have already removed the front section of the engine.

3. With a small hook made from a strong metal wire - remove the
23 inch long tube.

Orlof, you are going to need more than your strong arms and hands to pull this corroded tube out of the block. I would try some good penetrating oil over a couple of weeks. Otherwise, careful drilling with a very sharp drill may do the job, if accessible. A strong shop vacuum would be good to have there to keep metal chips out of the coolant system. I do not believe there is a trick to this. It seems like very careful work from someone that has very good eye-hand coordination. Best of luck - be careful.
