After 18 months and much help from club members, I have finally located all the exterior side moldings for my '58 Firesweep. Am asking for help once again in locating the correct clips and/ or fasteners to properly attach the trim pieces to the body panels. Anyone know if there is a list anywhere and who may supply them. Thanks again for your help

Bill

Bill, you can try Auveco - I believe auveco.com gets you there. They did not have anything original for my 53 Desoto but they do have a very large selection of clips.

Also, Restoration Specialty Supply or R J & L Obsolete Automotive Fasteners

www.restorationspecialties.com/

www.rjlautofasteners.com/

If you have an example, you can send it to Restoration Specialty Supply and they'll do their best to match it up with something that'll work if they don't have an exact replica.

We've sent pictures of original clips to RJL and they've been able to help us out, too.

It's supposed to be fun!
