The previous owner removed my 55’s glovebox to install a radio. As I’d like to have a glovebox again, does anyone have, or know of a good place to find a replacement box?

Glovebox liners were previously made by Gary Goers, who sold his business to Quirey Quality Design in Pennsylvania. Quirey has not yet set up their website with Gary's offerings, so what you need to do is look at Gary's catalogue in the link below and then call Quirey with the item number of the part you want. Page 8 (be sure to look at the actual page number written on the page, not what the pdf says at the top) shows glovebox liners. It looks like yours would be GB36. Also be aware that the price is likely going to be a little higher than what is shown in the catalogue.
