I think that we'll all agree that Dan Lyman did a great job being the guest editor for the Mar-Apr 2011 issue. Unfortunately, he just doesn't have the time to become a second editor for our club. (He has, however, already been nominated for a Special Achievement Award!)
We do need another editor. As stated in the Mar-Apr issue, one "should have a working knowledge of the software Adobe InDesign or Quark." Since I don't even know what those are, I'll suggest that you contact Dan if you have any questions or would like to apply for this job. Thanks.

Bill,
Have you had any luck finding an assistant editor for the Adventures?
Up until recently I have been tied up with an extended sub teaching assignment.
Unfortunately (or as my wife says, fortunately) they chose another candidate for the full time assignment so I'm thrown back into full time retirement.
I'm still involved in two part time technical instruction situations but they require a meager amount of attention each month.
Back in the early eighties, I was the Senior Technical Editior for Autobody magazine where I was responsible for at least one "How-To" article per issue.
We also featured one or two new product articles per month.
As far as Adobe InDesign and/or Quark are concerned, my youngest son, John is a professional web designer who inherited my "teaching gene" and could surely bring me up to speed on the programs.
You can email me @ wrxprt14@gmail.com for further discussion.
