At Iola, WI yesterday, while rushing through the swap area, I stumbled upon a MoPar Battery Filler. I have only seen one other one in a box before, 13 years ago. I bought that one, it is on my '52 Firedome. This one is still out there.
Also, notice the NOS oil filter in the photo also. I believe the color of the filter was a topic not too long ago.

What does a battery filler do? It has to have some benefit besides filling your car's battery? $200 - it must have some benefit.
I think this is the cool thing with 6 little glass jars that sits on top of the battery and keeps it topped off. These are pretty rare since they had little practical value and were made of glass.
Have a nice day

I had a set on my 51 and it always sparked conversation. Since I sold that car I just kept if for spare parts as I also have one on my 50 Imperial. There are 3 glass bottles that fit over the cells and keep the water level even....even if you have a voltage regulator thats overcharging. You can tell at a glance how much water is used.
People are always stopping and looking, even if they are not interested in the car itself....

Thanks guys. I would be looking and wondering. How does it know when to add water to the battery? It seems impractical to install a float switch of any sort into a battery cell.
