We received word today that Kate Cameron passed away last night after a brief illness
Kate was the first member of the NDC (#80) whose roots did not come from Buckeye or Maryland and was a regular at the conventions including Chattanooga last July
As an owner of a 1929 DeSoto and a collector of literature, she was the 1929 Model Year Coordinator and has helped many people over the years
Kate was a Midwestener by birth but she readily adopted Central New York as her home. Her knowledge and appreciateion of the area was evident in her collections and learning trips. As a science teacher by vocation, she maintained an interest in young adults and sought to learn something from everything around her.
I will miss my friend
Godspeed Kate

Damn!
I always enjoyed talking to her about Desoto Dealer jewelry, we were both collectors. She was very knowledgeable fan of the Desoto marquee and will be sorely missed.
