I tried posting this on my former 55' Desoto thread, however I cannot find it. I guess I am starting a new thread to update about my vehicle until (or if) the old one can be fixed.
I wanted to update everyone on my '55 Desoto Fireflite Coronado. This afternoon she ran for the first time after the neighbor helped me install a new set of points and a new condenser. It only lasted for about 20 seconds until she ran out of gas (we have it hooked up to a container until we drop the tank and have it cleaned/lines replaced or flushed). It was a thrill to hear her rumble. I only wish I had captured it on video. Hoping for nice weather this weekend so we can work on her some more. We'll let it run for a little while to see if there are any leaks, and see about dropping the tank. Hoping that I can take a video to share with you all then.

Jessica, congratulations from a fellow '55 owner.
Keep up the good work. You are really going to enjoy
cruising when the car is finished.
