Just like to personally thank all of the international attendees who traveled such long distances to the 2013 convention!
We met up with old friends and new, who came all the way from Canada, England, The Netherlands, and Australia! (Sorry if I've missed other countries.) These folks added a lot of fun and flair to the convention, and I feel very lucky to have shared in their great company!

Hello Rosemary and Neal. We arrived home to Melbourne on the 6th August after travelling a total of 21,911 miles. Only 1,254 miles of that total was done behind the wheel of a motor car, which, in my humble opinion, is an incredible effort considering we were driving on the wrong side of the road! Travelled through parts of California, Nevada, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, and even a quick trip over the border to Toronto for a couple of nights at Niagara Falls. Thanks to you and your husband for making the 'international contingent' feel really welcome. Sharyn and I had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed this convention, leaving with many fond memories, and having met many wonderful people. I am concerned though, that the convention hotel barman may be feeling lonely after the 'international contingent' left the building. Still recovering from jet lag and a New York flu. It is good to see the quantity and quality of the car photographs posted on this and other forums. It is a great advertisement for the NDC. We'll sit back, watch and wait re next years' convention before making a decision. Keep on posting!
