You might have to buy material and have it sewn up by a competent upholstery shop. Perhaps carpets for 4 door models are unfortunately not regular inventory.
I looked on Auto Custom Carpet's website and they do no list carpeting for a 4 door model. They were going to be my first recommendation!
It's supposed to be fun!

I think 55 and 56 are the same. Someone else may come along and correct me.

The trunk lock mechanism is the same on the 55 & 56 DeSotos and Chryslers.
When I was restoring my 55 Fireflite a number of years back, I could not find an exact replacement for the original nylon carpet. I recall having cut small samples from the back carpet where it went underneath the rear seat and sending these to vendors with no success. I eventually ordered the front carpet from Gary Goers and sent him my rear carpet as a pattern to make the rear carpet.
The carpet received had a higher pile than the original and of course did not have the uneven appearance of the original. When it came time to install the carpet, I wound up picking out a lower pile carpet with a smoothe surface from my upholsterer's sample book and they fabricated the new carpet, perhaps using the Gary Goers carpets as a pattern. To my recollection, Goers kept my old rear carpet.
I have no idea if Goers can now supply the rear carpet for a 4 door. I'm certain he can not match the original material. I found Goers almost impossible to communicate with.
I believe I found my brake and accelerator pedals on ebay. As you know, the coverings on these should be gray.
