Am looking to replace the mesh grille on my '58 Firesweep. Anyone know of a source for this material? Thanks to all for your help with my project.

Bill

Bill, I am not sure what the 58 grille looks like but Direct Metals (do a Google search) has all sorts of flat perforated sheet which I believe you are looking for.

Check out these discussions regarding similar types of trim - some vendors mentioned:

Yes, it does look like expanded metal and if the Forward Look links do not produce anything, it may be found straight from Direct metals. They have both the perforated sheet and the expanded metal. I was not sure what the 58 grill had until Rosemary sent the photo.

Bill will need the precise dimensional data on the expanded metal - size of squares/rectangles, thickness and width of members, orientation, and material and finish.

Bill, do you have a piece of the old? Like I mentioned, you will need to get precise dimensions(of course this depends on how close to original you want the material to be).
