hey guys,
I getting close to painting my 1960 Desoto Fireflite and I'm looking for a good car cover for it. I've had car covers for it before but none of them seem to account for the fins on it and because of that they create a kind of canopy between the fins. One way that I think this would need is if they made sleeves for the fins. So I'm wondering if you guys know any good places to get a car cover preferably one that doesn't break the bank.
My Regards,
Dominic
I had a good car cover for my 1955 Desoto. when I sold that car and bought a 1960 Desoto, I thought I'd need a larger cover. but actually the 55 was longer than the 60! the old cover works great with the 60 Desoto.
the valley between the fins is not a problem if you do not place things on top of the cover
cheers, tom
I put folded up towels over the tips of the fins to keep them from puncturing the cover. Works great!

You might give California Car Cover a call, if you want a fitted cover.
They have been pretty cooperative in the past regarding taking measurements that you provide and then creating a fitted cover for the car.
It's supposed to be fun!
