I have a 38 Desoto with a T86-IP transmission which I believe is a 1937 with overdrive.
Regular transmissions seem to call for heavy heavyweight gear oil, while the transmissions with overdrive, from what I understand in a Desoto repair manual, call for 70w.
What kind of gear oil can I use and if it is non-synthetic or unusual where can I get some?
Thanks, appreciate the help.
