I am only the second owner of this car, having purchased it from an estate in Greenville SC in 2004. It was originally owned by a lady in NJ, who then moved to SC. She tried to keep it up over the years, but some of the work by her mechanics and body people was not too professional. The odometer reads 146,000 and I believe the engine and transmission have been rebuilt, and the rear axle replaced. In 2006, I rebuilt the brake system and took care of some small electrical and mechanical items to make it road worthy. It runs well and looks pretty good, so I've classed it condition 4. New owner could drive it home. The car has two interesting options, rear window defogger and Adventurer trim strips on the trunk lid. The car is complete as far as I know - no missing parts. For show purposes, the car would need substantial restoration. There are some metal and bondo patches, and the chrome needs work. The best interior feature is a perfect crash pad, seat covers are OK but not original style. $3950. Contact Barrett Taft, phone 360-720-2465, email penguin008@comcast.net.
Is the car in SC or WA?
