Hello All

In the movie "The Long Long Trailer" the new Husband takes his '53
"Rag Top" Mercury to an local shop. They welded on a hitch, sold him the
trailer nose dolly, got the trailer brakes set up ( they used an then state-of
-the-art Kelsey Hayes Unit ), and then the mechanic rode home with him
to teach him how to drive it, saying to him "always remember TRAILER
BRAKES FIRST!".

During the mountain area driving Lucy is driving and is being told several
times ... " - TRAILER BRAKES FIRST " . You can see her moving her
right hand on The 14" Trailer Brake Controll Arm ( which is clamped to The
Steering Post ).

We have an OEM 1947 De Soto "Custom" with this same Trailer Brake
Controller Unit and I am hoping that some others may also have something
too.
