I am starting to re-install the door panels on my 1956 Firedome 4 door hardtop and am in need of the following:

Five(5) sheet metal backer plate that fits between window crank /door handle and door panel material. these are 1 13/16 " dia with a 1/2" hole and slightly dished at the hole. ( I hav one left that can be straightend and then only need four)
one (1) spring that backs the door panel to the door frame at the crank /handle

Note: Is there supposed to be a nylon washer that fits between the backer plate and the door handle?

thanks

Mike, I can get plastic versions of the disc you are referring to at the local O'Reilly's. The springs are a relatively common upholstery item, and my upholstery guy keeps them in stock.

It's supposed to be fun!
