Here's an interesting site if you have some time to kill, http://www.imcdb.org . Scroll to the bottom of the home page and click on DeSoto or any lesser make. I was finally able to confirm how the door jams are painted on my two tone car by catching a glimpse of an original car with it's door open. If you find yourself watching an old movie just to spot the old cars you'll enjoy this site.

Tim, I cannot believe somebody had all the time needed to put the website and contents together. It is pretty neat but I really do not have the time to kill but i had to check it out.

Hello

I always like ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eeVq1e6JKlw because
it shows the Rear Window Blinds that many an De Soto had in
that era.
