What size of brakes on this car , 11" or 12"

My 1957 service manual states, regarding brakes:

"total contact brakes 11 inches"

"hand brake drum diameter = 7 inches"

(My brakes are manual; not sure if there's any difference with power brakes. How can you tell that I'm not a mechanic? :P )
