My 48 custom club coupe with fluid drive and tip-toe transmission is finally running well. Replaced the clutch and changed the fluid and the result is no undue slippage. Did some other things like replacing the front and rear seals in engine. Replaced the front brake cylinders. Replaced the thermostat housing. Now the car runs smoothly and drives very well. I have a question: how fast should one drive while cruising? I am planning to drive the car to Branson and I don't want to drive it too fast.

Thanks for the info. I have been using those speeds. It seems comfortable at 55.
