We took the 1949 Desoto with less than 150mi on it to her first show. The Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance. The car needs the bumpers re-chromed and the mirrors and visors finished off, but she is fairly done.
I want to thank everyone who has helped me with the frame off restoration over the last 34 months. I could not have done it without everyone's help.
Best, James
Here is a photo of the car.
Congratulations! What an awesome achievement.
Maybe I should bring mine over to the shop. Perhaps we could accidentally work on it every once in a while.
It's supposed to be fun!

That is a real nice looking car, James. Time to enjoy.
James,
Cleo looks great. Love that shade of green. I don't know how far you're willing to travel with her, nor when we'll have another NDC Convention out your way, but I hope to see Cleo up close someday. Are you giving rides?
Bill
