Bob Terpak has suggested that the NDC write up a book about itself covering the first 30 years of our club's history, and Bob has said that he's willing to be an Associate Editor for this book. While the club's Trustees agree that this sounds like a great idea, none of us have the time to volunteer to put together such a large effort.
The book should note the beginnings of the club from its roots in OH and the immediate growth we had. It would include lists of all sort of fun facts about our club: past conventions, past Best of Show and Class winners, list of Presidents, Research projects, Hernando De Soto and Speical Achievement Award winners, pictures of the bricks, etc. Maybe a quick blurb on every year De Soto, pictures of dealers/dealerships, Spring Specials, etc.
The book would be printed on quality paper and in color.
And it was suggested that one of the Trustees be in charge to oversee progress, proofread, etc.
Of course, keeping the costs down to a reasonable price would be a key goal.
So what do you think? Anyone willing to take on such a large task?
Please post any comments/ideas/questions here, or send to me via nobledesoto@ameritech.net. Thanks.

Hola Yo'al
I think this is a very good ideal.
Other than only "show cars" - how about some photos of "regular cars" that folks have and drive.
