Any recommendations? I really dislike buying a car from a distance but I'd feel a lot better with a thorough inspection from an experienced inspector. Which companies/persons would you recommend? Car is in northern NY state, if you happen to know someone there.
The car is a '46 DeLuxe. Any special things to check that isn't common with other cars of this era?
You might try these guys. They've been at it for a while now. Representatives nationwide.
It's supposed to be fun!

I have always been told that these years of cars seem to have leak issues
which turn to rust issues from the floor board area to the outside of where
the driver or front passenger would have their outside foot at.
Check with the same era De Soto Tech and see what is said ( Look at
Resources to the left of this screen --- and click ).

Thanks for the tips. Any idea how much these should cost? I'm seeing figures in the low to high $300s. Is that high? Hell, my home inspection was only $250 o.O
