The 60 DeSoto models with windshield washers were equipped with a vacuum operated unit that consisted of a plastic container with a grey plastic top with vacuum pump motor mounted on top. It was located on the radiator support opposite the battery. It is a one year only item (thank goodness) I tried to send a picture but this site won't allow me to download for some reason. I just realized there is a picture of engine compartment on one of my 60 DeSoto's on page 8 of members cars. 1st picture on page, washer is pictured at bottom right, beside radiator.
