Can someone tell me what air cleaner assembly or assemblies, would have been used on a 60 Adventurer 383 with 4 barrel carb?

You can see this air cleaner is painted gold. Was it ever painted black and used on a Desoto?

If this is the correct style, what decal callout would have been used?

If anyone has any pictures of an original one installed I'd really appreciate it. Even a factory type photo would be great.

Thanks for all replies.

This is my grandfather's 1960 383 4 bbl Adventurer. It has 43,000 original miles and is completely original except for the normal maintenance items (belts, hoses, etc.).

Greg, I'm pretty certain the air cleaner in your original post is for a 59 or 60 Pymouth Fury.

I had seen it used only on the 59 Plymouths so had no idea if it was on anything else.

Great picture! Many thanks to you guys!
