And my Tag.

Just got my 59 out of the paint shop.
Maaco believe it or not.
$2700 Escalade pearl, under the hood, door jambs, trunk, dash, bumper panels.
That included, removing and replacing all doors, trunk, and hood.
I did have it ready for paint, so they didn't have to do any body work.
They did a great job.
Note all Maaco shops are not the same.
Edmond Oklahoma shop is good, great guys really went the extra mile.

I was thinking of getting a '76 Nova Concours painted at Maaco because we need a backup car, the Nova's currently a rust bucket, and I'm baroque . I'd heard they were the cheapest place to get your car painted but that they did a "decent" job. Your job looks really, really good, though! Much better than just "decent". It would seem the workers that did your car have been there for awhile and I guess after a couple years of spraying cars day in and day out they get pretty danged good at it! I think it's about time for that worker to open up his own shop or otherwise "graduate" from Maaco, haha.
I've long held the opinion that the best painters in the world most likely work at Maaco. I'm sure they paint numerous cars every day, whereas at my shop we paint a few cars per year, and they are usually broken down into the smallest pieces possible.
It's supposed to be fun!
1949 De Soto Custom Convertible (project)
Looking GOOD, Dane!
Your DeSoto is looking very sharp!
Thank you for the photos.
I had a '79 Fairmont repainted at our local Maaco years ago and was surprised through the years afterwards how well the paint job ended up being.
Looking sharp, Dane Sharp!
Very nice car!
Very nice! Not the quality that the "Maaco" name normally imparts. Need to change my thinking I guess.
