I have a question about the SPRING clips used for the 1956 Adventurer. I was wondering if anyone had any trouble, or "issues" from those 55-57 "T-Bird" clips, and did you use the RUBBER BUMPERS that are used with the T-Bird clips. Those rubbers look a bit "thicker" than the DeSoto rubber bumpers.

I had been told a long time ago that the T-Bird Clips were "tighter" than the DeSoto ones.

The reason I am asking is because yesterday I had to put air in my tires, and I had to deal with those wheel covers and then I remembered I didn't have enough "CLIPS" for each wheel. Some of mine are BROKE where they attach to the rim.

Thanks!

Jim

Hey Jim, I replied to your email. Did you get that?

I used a combo of original and repro clips onBruce's Adventurer. And also used the bumpers that came with the repros. Seem to be fine.

It's supposed to be fun!

Thanks for that info Tim... sorry for the no reply on my email. I've been working on another project and time gets away from me  ! I just need to order the clips when I think of it!! My original rubber bumpers bad shape and some not there. They break in half due to their age.

Jim
